Endura Carrots are a mainstay in the Zelda series, returning in Tears of the Kingdom. Here's where to find Endura Carrot and what it's used for.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings back a ton of familiar materials and cooking ingredients from Breath of the Wild and other Zelda titles. In Tears of the Kingdom, Endura Carrots are one such returning ingredient, with the same effect and most of the same uses it had before.

Endura Carrots were originally used in Ocarina of Time to represent Epona's spur count, and were brought back to Zelda in Breath of the Wild as a way to increase and restore Stamina in cooked food. In Tears of the Kingdom, Endura Carrots are incredibly important for one particularly picky resident of a Fairy Fountain. Thankfully, there are a lot of different ways to acquire just one to sate Malanya's hunger.

The main property of Endura Carrots in Tears of the Kingdom is its ability to increase Link's maximum stamina when used as an ingredient in cooking recipes. When cooked, Endura Carrots can grant players an extra yellow-colored Stamina wheel that only gets used when the normal, self-replenishing green one is depleted.

Endura Carrots are also a great item to feed to Link's horse. There are two benefits to this – Link's relationship with his horse is increased and it will obey him more often, and his horse is given extra Spur wheels to use when riding. These wheels appear to the right of the normal spur counter, and don't come back once used.

Endura Carrots are also important for players who want to upgrade (or revive) their horses in Tears of the Kingdom. Malanya, the Horse God, rests just downhill from the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab and just north of the East Akkala Stable. Malanya will only emerge from his bud if he is given a single Endura Carrot.

There is one major location where Link can find Endura Carrot in Tears of the Kingdom: Satori Mountain. Satori Mountain was where players could find and ride the Lord of the Mountain in Breath of the Wild, and is near the Outskirt Stable to the west of Hyrule Field. In Tears of the Kingdom, players can find a new Shrine here as well as Endura Carrots.

Head to the peak of the mountain to find the most Endura Carrots out in the wild, which respawn over a few days. Endura Carrot can also be purchased from some traveling vendors throughout Hyrule, and can be found in some specific locations elsewhere, but Satori Mountain is the best place to harvest them from the wild en masse.

Endura Carrots can also be earned as quest rewards throughout Tears of the Kingdom. If looking for just one Endura Carrot to give to Malanya, head south of the Horse God's fountain and talk to Aya at the East Akkala Stable. She informs Link of a band of pirates threatening the coastline, and if he defeats them and returns, she will reward a single Endura Carrot (and some Pony Points). Don't forget to complete the Shrine that sits just above Malanya's area for an easy way to teleport back from The Gathering Pirates' ships.
