ABC News Meteorologist Ginger Zee was in New Hampshire sharing her mental health journey on Thursday.

She was the keynote speaker at the Center for Life Management's annual fundraiser in Atkinson.

The organization provides mental health services to thousands of people each year.

Zee has written two books detailing her experiences with anorexia, depression and abusive relationships.

"Speaking of stigma and reducing it, I think we're getting there," Zee said. "I think that people openly say now, 'I have depression. I have anxiety. I go to therapy.' That's much better than where we were."
